Dear God, I'm Confused

Standing at a crossroad. Wearing black, feeling emo.
Which way should I go? The one that leads to my lifelong dreams? Or the one that my family wants for me?
Its funny how hard it is to decide which turn at the crossroad is right.

Warning!
“You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.” Qur’an 42:13

“Nothing happens to you except in accordance with GOD's will. Anyone who believes in GOD, He will guide his heart. GOD is fully aware of all things.” Qur’an 64:11

“He decreed for you the same religion decreed for Noah, and what we inspired to you, and what we decreed for Abraham, Moses, and Jesus: "You shall uphold this one religion, and do not divide it." The idol worshipers will greatly resent what you invite them to do. GOD redeems to Himself whomever He wills; He guides to Himself only those who totally submit.” Qur’an 42:13

“We have sent down to you clarifying revelations, then GOD guides whoever wills (to be guided) in a straight path.” Qur’an 24:46

Peace

There I am ... I made a mistake. Oh God, I am very sorry.
Correct reference is - Qur’an 17:36 for …
“You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.” Qur’an 17:36

dear anonymous,
you don;t have to cut-paste quran verses here as if you're the only person with access to a translation. it;s available online. nothing new. boring.
thanks.

Sorry for writing here. Btw when I saw the headline “Dear God I’m confused”, I assumed you were sincerely confused & asking for the help of God.

Sorry to tell you this too but if you would understand the following verse 7:26- it’s the answer to your query (confusion)!

Salaam

Ok, so I'm confused with all the anonymouses here..

@ Anonymous1: Thankyou. That is beautiful :)

@ Ming Ming: Yea you're one of the few people who knows :(

@Anonymous2: Salaam. Thankyou so much for the Qur'an verses. For a while there, I forgot everything happens for a reason. Although my problems are still unsolved, from here on I will leave it to God :) Thanks for the advice! It really helped (:

maxi, i know it is a tough decision. you must choose something that you're happy with, not something you are forced to be happy for. my point is that, in the long run, it will be better if you choose something that you love doing.
and as for your parents. who does not long to see their child happy, and stand tall at the top of their careers? go for the one you love, be happy. your parents will find happiness from within your bliss. :)

Dear Rifga,

If your "... problems are still unsolved." … hope this may help.

Qur’an 7: 26 states: “O children of Adam, we have provided you with garments to cover your bodies, as well as for luxury. But the best garment is the garment of righteousness. These are some of GOD's signs, that they may take heed.”

Btw, “After life there's more ... What dreams may come? “http://www.facebook.com/album.php?id=100000771207533&aid=10707

Sorry for the confusion.

Peace
